A mare of painted colors appeared wandering through the forest. Ebonite locks fell around his sleek boa, whilst a tail dipped in chocolatly brown and covered in a crisp white flew out behind her. Her movements were gracious and elegant..gracious..gracious...elegant...
Foxy's orbs flipped open with a slight but non-noticable hesitation. She wasn't so vain as to dream about herself was she? But no, the mare she had seen hadn't been her, or at least that is how she would tell it. Getting up from her favorite sleeping postion, she sterched, much like a human or canine would. Moving her shoulders, and limbs, and then sterching herself out to give her back a gift of wonderment.
Shaking herself with pleasure, she smiled into the lemony sunshine that gleamed down onto her, warming her so. Standing in the rays of gracious light, she soon found herself toasty warm and moved on, exploring deeper into the red wood forest. She wasn't exactly sure of what this place was called, but it was oh-so-wonderful. And she loved it dearly.
Light beams speckled the forest floor, pushing and prying open the trees' limbs so they could have a chance to really show their stuff. Few made it, but they all tried, and she began to admire the little ball of fire and all her young'lings trying to become just like her one day. She smiled upwards and contiuned to move on.
Small mammals and large alike passed by, well scurried or scambled, scampered or schuffled. Whichever term one would like ot use best. She was more of a simpleton, and wasn't one for using the big words when there were smaller ones that would and could do just fine.
Humming to herself to pass the time, Foxy picked up her pace, changing strides to a beautiful trot. 'Am I to vain?' the question always came to her whilst traveling, or just moving around. Was she really to vain? She couldn't be..could she? But she daren't ask anyone their opinions, she did not want any other to know, through they probally did anyways.
While she loved to think of herself as perfect, and occansionaly narrate her own life to change it to pure perfection, she knew she wasn't perfect. She knew she got jealous far to easily, and she was beginning to realize she was rather vain, and selfish. But she knew something about herself that none other did, and what most did not care to stick around and find out.
She truely did care.
Even through she never let it on, she really did care a lot. But, she needed someone to help her get through the selfishness and jealousy, but she would never consider becoming a dependent. So, she just bore her burden without a word, and trudged on.
Looking up ahead, she slammed on the brakes. Up ahead, was beautiful, the trees formed a wide circle around a grassy meadow, with a few leaves dropped in every direction, and it seemed the leaves here couldn't wait to be free of their mother branches and feel the soft breath of a breeze to carry them down towards the lush grass. And who in their right mind wouldn't?
With a wide smile, she pushed her previous thoughts aside and bounded towards the meadow like a newborn foal, and gleefully began rolling in her own secret meadow..
