Stag bored the hues of greys and blacks alike. DL stood in the deserted land, unsure of whether he wanted to live or die. This seemed an appritiote spot for him, whether on his good or bad side. The rest of the land was beautiful as far as the eye could see, he didn't want to crowd the lands, but instead left them open.
"Now I just need to figure out where I am.." the simple fact bothered him more then it should, and he felt a sudden urge to duplicate himself, but he controled it to his best, so there would only be one of him to destory things in this graveyard of bones.
Looking over the dead landscape with darkened orbs, audits pinned back. Sudden restlessness came over the sixteen hand stallion of smoke. Shoulders tensed, and he knew he could not control his personality for much longer, soon the disease he had devolped would cause the clones to seep out one by one, untill he was unconious and unknowing of what damage they did, but he would feel it once he was awake again. The guilt would be more then he could bear. Perhaps, just maybe, the guilt would be enough to crush him. But for now..
He simply let go.
Let go of his will, and the power he had had over the spytoms, and felt the clones come and go for a bit, some leaving to recklessness, and then coming back to get more power to do bigger damage. He did not care anymore, and he let unconiousness slip over him without hesitation.
When he woke, he was surprised to find that the graveyard was not in as bad of shape as he would have thought it would have been. Moving with a slight stiffness, he sterched his muscles, which felt over-worked and under-hydrated, he would need to find a spring somewhere.
Looking across the barren land, he sighed. The guilt was crushing, at least there had not been any others here to get hurt. He had been right to come here. Anywhere else and his clones could have killed.. quite literally.
Getting up, DL did not bother to shake the dead grass, and things from his pelt or chains, he simply left them there. There was no one here anyways, even if he did care what the others would or did think of him. Stiff legs and shoulders, and several cuts and gashes kept him from leaving right away. There was no clean water here, only puddles. 'Well, what other damage could it do?' he thought to himself and simply drank from the nearest puddle untill his cottoned mouth was not nearly so dry.

Artemis' ivory body gleamed as she made her way along the East Bie Cemetary. Twin harks were pricked atop of her head, acoustics cupping any faint noise that might come to them. Warm amber orbs, almost golden, glimmered in the warm sunlight that cascaded down through the trees. Her hooves sank into the soft dirt, leaving perfect impressions behind. Long ivory banner whipped from side to side, thwacking against her flanks, keeping away unwanted pests that swarmed around her in annoyance. Flints moved in sync, carrying her lovely carcass forward.
Sure, Artemis was slightly arrogant, and conceited. She knew she was pretty and knew it because she was the the lead , and the ruler of this land. She blew out her nares softly omitting a gentle snort. She pressed on until she reached the cliff. She stopped by it and briefly peered out over the ocean, watching the waves crash against the jagged rocks, spraying mist upward.
The mist felt good going against her pelt. After a few moments , she raised her head and scanned around. The wind brought her the scent of a stallion nearby. She snorted again and extended her front foreleg out, rubbing her nares against her upper knee. Artemis had the ability of telekinesis, which means she is able to move inanimate objects with her mind. She smirked to herself at the thought of over ruling the other herds. It would be a history making move of course. She raised her hind leg up belly level and stomped it once, relieving some tension that had built up in her muscles. She flicked her banner again and stood by the cool river, wondering if anyone would come to greet her today. Surely they couldn't pass up a lovely thing like her.
Ever since she was young, Artemis' ability had grown. When she was only a foal, she was able to lift leaves and branches. Now, she can move anything as long as she concentrated. There were no limits to her ability, but surely there were weakneses. If she concentrates on a heavy object for too long, she becomes tired and weak herself. Then she has to let it drop. Both ears twitched every once and a while, listening to the birds chirping and watching the fluffy white clouds roll by. A few had taken flight, their bodies ebony. After another moment, Artemis headed toward the stallion and stopped in fron of him as she began speaking.
"Hello. I'm Aremis, ruler of these lands. What is your name?" she inquired of him.

The puddle water was rather disqusting, and rightfully so. Who knows what had stepped in it, but it was water never-the-less. Soul-less orbs looked at the distraction with guilt and a slight feeling of pride. He had caused this. Yes, he had. So why should he pick it up? He would leave that for someone else to do.
Finally having done a bit of deciding, he was feeling quite happy. Happiness was not a well known emotion for DL, his emotions tended to rest on depressed, angry or guilty most of the time. Perhaps it was time he just accepted what he was. 'No!' a tiny voice with-in hsi head screamed, and he knew it was right.
With a sigh, he turned towards the destrucian he, or rather his clones had caused to the place. It really didn't make much of a difference, unless you had grown up here and know the place top to buttom. Snorting, he heard someone coming up behind him, and turned to see a beautiful ivory vixen walking towards him.
Something about this mare radiated power, and he instantly felt the butterflies in his stomach take flight like a child on the first day of school. As she spoke, her words even seemed to drip with elegance. "Tis a pleasure to meet the ruler of the lands, I am Die Laughing, known to some as DL." he told her, dipping his crown to the lead mare, making sure his temper was in check.
