Almost every competitive equestrian dreams of rising to the top level. What they don't realize is that riding isn't about achieving an end result. Instead, riding is a journey; a path of discovery. There are ups and downs, highs and lows, and long periods of plateaus where things don't seem to be getting better or worse. There are good and bad shows, just as there are good days and bad days. The unexpected happens, but life goes on.
<b>Reined</b> focuses on the seemingly unimportant "little moments" which make up the lives of those surrounded by horses. While horse shows are a part of the game, they're not central to the plot. Instead, <b>Reined</b> is about the day-to-day experiences of life with horses. At <b>Reined</b>, you'll find a small-town atmosphere full of quirky individuals. Not everyone is a rider. As we strive for unique characters, feel free to join a vet, farrier, trainer, groom, working student, instructor, sponsor, horse owner, feed store worker, stable manager, judge, breeder, professional rider, adult amateur, young rider, or equine journalist, to name just a few possibilities of different characters. Horses not your thing? You're still welcomed at <b>Reined</b>! There's plenty of attractions in town for non-horsey enthusiasts.
<b>Reined</b> is a different breed of horse/human rpg. We're not a SIM-game hybrid. We don't have a confusing points system, or care about keeping track of money. Instead, we're a community of horse lovers who enjoy playing, well, quite simply, horse lovers. We're in the process of changing things to make the game more accessible. We're always open to suggestions and ideas on our ooc board.
Horses have the ability to bring people together in mysterious ways. After a summer hiatus, <b>Reined</b> is back. Please join us for our grand reopening. We're always looking for fun, diverse characters.
